Larry E. Coey, Of Counsel

Larry received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University in 1968 and Bachelor of Law and Juris Doctor degrees from the John Marshall Law School in 1972. His practice is focused on international business matters and civil litigation. Larry is licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio and North Carolina as well as all U.S. Federal Courts, including the Court of Claims and U.S. Supreme Court.

Before joining Stumphauzer, O’Toole, McLaughlin, McGlamery & Loughman Co., LPA in January of 2001, Larry was a staff attorney at Hyman, Hyman & Zagrans (1972-1975) and Managing Partner of Coey, Bennett & Carlson Co., LPA (1982-2000). Larry has been featured in a major article published in the American Bar Association Journal. He is a member of the North Carolina and Ohio State Bar Associations and the Lorain County Bar Association.

Larry is married to his wife Penny, and they have two children, Kimberly, a marketing director for a national law firm in Denver, CO, and Christopher, a public school instructor in Davidson, NC.
